The AMBIENT-6G consortium comprises key entities across various domains crucial for the advancement of secure, low-cost and environmentally sustainable energy-neutral solutions for 6G. The consortium is composed of a key network technology vendor (Ericsson), network operator (Telefonica), microelectronics design agency (Quicksand), semiconductor company (NXP Semiconductors), cellular IoT device manufacturers (Sequans Communications), end-to-end solution provider (Wings ICT Solutions), a research institute focusing on nanoelectronics R&D (IMEC) and four universities focusing on backscatter communications (Aalto University), wireless power transfer and low-power protocol design (University of Oulu), low-power electronics and radio technology (KU Leuven), and wireless channel modelling and signal processing (Graz University of Technology).
